Mulch is used for two big reasons:
1. It keeps your flowers and shrubs moist and healthy throughout the year.
2. It keeps your weeds in your beds from becoming out of hand.
Mulch is applied between 3”-4” in depth. Skelley’s Outside Service offers a wide variety of mulch options. There are different colors such as brown, black, and red, and different varieties such as cedar or finely shredded triple processed.
Mulch is made to break down in your flower beds over time. This adds nutrients to the soil and increases the fertility.
