When trying to decide between pavers and other options such as wood decks or concrete, consider these options that pavers offer:
· Affordable. Why pay nearly the same for a product that you know will eventually need replaced, which will double your investment?
· Pavers will last longer than anything else. Wood will eventually rot away. Concrete will crack and heave. Composite decking will bow and warp. PAVERS DO NOT!
· Pavers allow endless colors and designs, many of which CANNOT be achieved with stamped concrete.
· Pavers allow the ability to replace certain sections if necessary. Why would you need this option? Say you drop a heavy object on your patio and crack one. No problem. Just pull it up and replace it. What if there is a basement leak and to fix it the patio needs pulled up? No problem. Pull up the necessary section and then replace it.
· The base under pavers is crushed stone that is properly tamped. This prevents the heaving you see with concrete.
· Contrary to popular belief, you WILL NOT get weeds that grow through your pavers. S.O.S uses a special “poly” joint sand that seals the cracks to prevent this from happening.
